Kimmich says Bayern are "More Cautious" with Ancelotti compared to Pep
So Bayern have now come to a bit of a sticky patch, and are not winning the games like they were expected to. Kimmich, the foetus who has been incredible so far, says that they play more cautiously under Ancelotti compared to Pep.
May sound strange, but if you think about it, with all the passing that Pep's Bayern did, they actually created a heck of a lot chances, and were always constantly trying to open up the defence. Even in that semi-final against Atletico, they created a lot of openings, but couldn't put them away.
The cautious comment makes sense when you saw how Bayern played in the Atletico game where they were not trying to be braver to try and play more incisive forward passes. Ancelotti just needs to know the players better and get the best out of them so they are a lot more forward thinking, rather than just relying on the individual talent to click their fingers and make it happen.
